False Floor

A lack of proper signage and communication results in a dangerous condition. An unsuspecting wood framer steps onto a piece of plywood that was being held in place only by adherence to recently poured concrete. The weight of a person causes the plywood to break free and the worker to fall approximately 12 feet. The resulting injuries—including multiple skull fractures—are given 3-dimensional reference and 2-dimensional annotations to provide context for complex medical scans.
