Patio Plunge

In preparation for a criminal case in which the circumstances surrounding a person's injury were in dispute, we collaborated closely with the defense team to produce graphics that could help clarify the situation. The central question at issue was whether the individual had been pushed off a balcony, thrown off, or had jumped off at their own volition. Our role was to create a visual story to convey the details of the scene, the location of relevant objects, and the physics of the various possible scenarios.

We worked through several iterations to make sure the graphics accurately represented the findings of biomechanical engineer Erik Power of Hayes & Associates. The finished presentation was used to help negotiate a favorable settlement.
